- Follow all prep lists created by Executive Chef.
- Properly set up dessert station, maintaining all par levels. Restocking as necessary.
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, in accordance with Health Department standards.
- Ensures all stored product is labeled and stored following FIFO and Company standards.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all desserts meets expectations.
- Ensure the quality and condition of pastry kitchen equipment is in good working order.
- Attends and participates in any training sessions, departmental meetings, and daily pre-service meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of previous experience in similar position.
- Candidate must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
- Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask calmly under pressure.
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed.
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
- Must have SNHD Food Handler Safety Card.
- Working environment may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
- Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
